1. Google may not know your pages exist
Set up Google Search Console, confirm your site is indexed and submit a sitemap. If Google cannot discover the pages, no amount of good copy will help them rank.
2. Your page titles may be too vague
A page called Home or Services does not explain what the page is about. Use clear titles that combine the service, business or location where it makes sense.
3. One page is trying to rank for everything
Give important services their own pages. A separate page for each service gives search engines a clearer topic and gives customers a better answer.
4. Mobile performance may be working against you
Test the site on a real phone. Large images, heavy plugins and unnecessary animation can make pages slow and frustrate visitors before they contact you.
5. Your Google Business Profile may be incomplete
Keep your address, phone, hours, categories, services and photographs current. For local searches, this profile can be as important as the website.
6. You are not publishing useful answers
Create articles that answer the questions customers ask before buying. Useful content gives search engines more context and gives people a reason to trust you.
7. Nobody credible is linking to you
Relevant directory listings, industry bodies, suppliers, partners and local media can strengthen trust signals. Focus on relevant, reputable links rather than buying large quantities of poor-quality links.
